Responsibilities

• Assist with concrete mixing, pouring, and finishing to create smooth, level surfaces according to project specifications
• Set up and dismantle formwork and scaffolding using carpentry skills and hand tools
• Install rebar reinforcement following blueprint specifications to strengthen concrete structures
• Operate power tools and concrete pumps safely and efficiently during various phases of construction
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and construction plans to execute tasks accurately
• Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment while adhering to safety protocols at all times
• Maintain a clean and organized worksite by properly handling tools, materials, and debris

Skills

• Strong mechanical knowledge related to construction tools and equipment operation
• Experience with concrete forming, cutting, finishing, and pouring techniques
• Ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, and construction plans with precision
• Knowledge of construction estimating processes for material needs and project timelines
• Familiarity with construction workplace safety regulations and proper safety protocol adherence
• Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, plastering, stucco application, caulking, flooring installation, and restoration techniques
• Experience working on construction projects involving heavy lifting, renovation, or site restoration efforts
