Concrete Laborer

Concrete Laborer — $20–$36 per Hour

Main Executive is hiring a hardworking Concrete Laborer for concrete construction projects throughout Appleton, the Fox Valley, Northeast Wisconsin, and surrounding areas.

We're hiring enthusiastic, trustworthy and forward-moving people.

This is a full-time, hands-on construction position. The Concrete Laborer will assist with demolition, excavation, grading, forming, reinforcing, pouring, finishing, cleanup, and general jobsite operations.

Pay is $20–$36 per hour, based on construction experience, attendance, work ethic, productivity, skills, reliability, and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Prepare concrete jobsites
• Remove concrete and load debris
• Carry, clean, and organize tools and materials
• Assist with grading and base preparation
• Set and strip concrete forms
• Install rebar and wire reinforcement
• Help pour, spread, screed, edge, broom, and finish concrete
• Operate hand tools and small equipment
• Maintain clean and safe jobsites
• Follow foreman instructions and company safety procedures
• Report safety concerns promptly
• Assist with other construction duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Construction experience preferred
• Concrete experience helpful but not required
• Strong work ethic and dependable attendance
• Ability to follow instructions and learn new skills
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to work effectively with a crew
• Willingness to perform demanding outdoor labor
• Ability to arrive on time and ready to work
• Ability to communicate clearly with foremen and crew members

Schedule

• Full-time
• Monday through Friday
• Early morning start times
• Overtime may be required
• Hours may vary based on weather, workload, and project schedules

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry at least 50 pounds
• Ability to bend, kneel, squat, push, pull, and climb
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Ability to perform repetitive physical work
• Ability to work outdoors in heat, cold, wind, and changing weather
• Ability to safely work around equipment, trucks, and active jobsites
