Concrete Mixer Driver

We are seeking a reliable and safety-minded Concrete Mixer Truck Driver to join our team. This position is crucial in ensuring the timely and high-quality delivery of ready-mix concrete to our customers and projects. The ideal candidate will have experience with heavy trucks, strong attention to safety, and a willingness to cross-train to support other hauling needs when required.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate a concrete mixer truck to deliver concrete to job sites.
• Ensure loads are mixed properly and delivered on schedule while maintaining quality standards.
• Inspect truck, mixer, and related equipment daily for proper maintenance and safe operation.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and complete necessary documentation.
• Wash out the truck after deliveries to maintain cleanliness and prevent build-up.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, plant operators, and site crews.
• Follow all DOT, OSHA, and company safety policies and procedures.
• Cross-train to operate gravel haul trucks to help feed stockpiles as needed to support plant operations.
• Assist with other yard or plant duties as required.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL Class A driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Experience with mixer trucks preferred, but training may be available for the right candidate.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and proper truck operation.
• Ability to perform basic truck maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Strong commitment to safety, reliability, and teamwork.
• Physical ability to climb ladders, lift 50 lbs., and work in varying weather conditions.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, or weekends as needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
