Concrete Superintendent

Responsibilities

· Provide field leadership for crews on new and/or renovation concrete construction projects. Active engagement in the field.

· Champion safety through use of best practices and knowledge of OSHA safety standards.

· Plan and direct daily activities for site preparation, form setting, concrete placement and finishing, saw cutting, and final clean-up to meet specifications.

· Coordinate with project management, other trades, and customers to maintain schedule, quality, and service expectations.

· Apply technical expertise and problem-solving to resolve field issues and deliver successful project outcomes on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards.

Requirements

· 7–10+ years of commercial concrete finishing experience.

· Proven experience leading field crews.

· Ability to read and interpret construction drawings.

· Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.

Work Environment

· Work is performed on active construction sites and in an office setting, depending on project needs.

· Projects may include indoor and outdoor work with exposure to loud noise, enclosed spaces, work at heights, and seasonal temperatures.
