Job Title: Condition Monitoring Inspector

Experience Required: Minimum 5+ years in Condition Monitoring, Predictive Maintenance, or Reliability Engineering
Qualification:- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- ISO 18436-2 Category II Vibration Analyst (Mandatory / Preferred)
Job Summary:
The Condition Monitoring Inspector will be responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and improving the reliability and performance of rotating equipment through predictive and preventive maintenance techniques. The role involves vibration analysis, lubrication analysis, field inspections, troubleshooting, and close coordination with operations and maintenance teams to ensure safe and continuous plant operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Condition Monitoring & Inspection:- Perform routine and critical inspections of rotating equipment such as pumps, compressors, motors, turbines, fans, and gearboxes
- Collect and analyze vibration data using portable and online systems (SKF Microlog, CSI-2140/2130, Bentley Nevada, etc.)
- Monitor equipment health using vibration, lubrication oil analysis, and process parameters
Vibration Analysis & Diagnostics:- Diagnose faults such as misalignment, imbalance, bearing defects, looseness, and resonance
- Perform field balancing and support corrective maintenance
- Prepare detailed analysis reports with findings and corrective recommendations
Reliability & Maintenance Support:- Support predictive and preventive maintenance programs
- Participate in installation, commissioning, and startup of rotating equipment
- Conduct performance testing of rotating assets
Reporting & Documentation:- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly condition monitoring reports
- Maintain rotating equipment databases
- Record findings in CMMS systems (Oracle or similar)
Collaboration & Safety:- Coordinate with operations, maintenance, and reliability teams
- Participate in maintenance planning and shutdown meetings
- Support Root Cause Analysis (RCA) activities
- Follow plant safety procedures and statutory standards
Tools & Systems Exposure:- Vibration Instruments: SKF Microlog Analyzer AX, CSI-2140/2130
- Software: AMS Machinery Manager, Bentley Nevada Systems, SKF @ptitude
- NDT Exposure: UT, Wall Measurement
- CMMS: Oracle or similar
