Key Responsibilities
Delegate Sales and Client Engagement
- Identify, qualify, and onboard potential delegates for conferences and academic events
- Build a strong sales pipeline and achieve monthly delegate acquisition targets
- Engage prospects through calls, emails, social media, and networking
Sponsorship Marketing and Partnerships
- Reach out to healthcare organisations, corporates, and industry leaders for sponsorship opportunities
- Present sponsorship proposals, highlight event value, and support sponsorship closures
- Maintain and grow long-term partner relationships
Marketing and Outreach
- Execute multi-channel outreach campaigns including email, WhatsApp, LinkedIn, and social media
- Support marketing content creation for event promotions, brochures, and digital assets
- Manage and update stakeholder databases for sustained engagement
Conference Planning and Operations
- Assist in planning, coordination, and smooth execution of conferences and workshops
- Coordinate with speakers, delegates, vendors, and operations teams
- Provide on-ground support on event days and assist with post-event reports and insights
Skills and Competencies
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Proactive with excellent interpersonal abilities
- Sales-driven mindset with basic marketing understanding
- Ability to multitask and manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Good command of MS Office; knowledge of CRM tools is an advantage
Qualifications
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Business, Marketing, Life Sciences, or related fields
- 1 to 3 years of experience in sales or marketing, preferably in events or conferences
