As an intermediate consultant with the Oracle Health Configuration Center, you will play a key role in configuring the Oracle Health Drug File system for external client projects. You will work directly with clients and internal teams to ensure that systems are configured to meet project needs, providing technical expertise and troubleshooting support throughout the process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Configure Oracle Health Drug File systems for external client project implementations. (Note: This position is specific to the VA Federal Contract.)
- Assist in the preparation and structuring of data for system configuration.
- Coordinate with the internal project team to bi-directionally share configuration status, project timelines, and updates, and verify configuration requests.
- Escalate reported configuration issues for timely resolution.
- Balance configuration ownership across multiple clients, ensuring high standards and adherence to project deadlines.
- Assist in the preparation and structuring of data for system configuration.
- Collaborate with internal project teams to communicate configuration status, timelines, and updates, ensuring alignment with project goals.
- Verify configuration requests and escalate issues to the appropriate channels for resolution.
- Independently complete complex system configurations and contribute to process improvements across projects.
- Document work thoroughly and ensure all processes are well-maintained using preferred tools and platforms.
- Act as an escalation point for complex configuration issues, driving problem-solving efforts and delivering resolutions.
- Provide leadership and guidance to Configuration Analysts, offering coaching, mentoring, and training as necessary.
- Continuously identify and implement process improvements to optimize workflow and efficiency.
Qualifications:
- 0-5 years of experience in relevant functional or technical roles.
- Experience with Drug File configuration, particularly in the maintenance of the formulary, is preferred but not required.
- A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, with product or technical expertise specific to healthcare systems, is preferred.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with team members and clients.
