Education:- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, B.Com, or a related field
Experience:- 3–6 years of relevant experience in construction or civil project accounting
Prior experience in retail store construction, fit-outs, or commercial civil projects is preferred
Job Description:-
- Maintain and monitor civil construction project accounts for retail outlets and facilities
- Track project budgets, BOQs, actual costs, and variances
- Verify and process contractor bills, work completion certificates, and running bills
- Record and manage CAPEX transactions related to civil works and renovations
- Ensure accurate cost allocation to projects and cost centers
- Prepare monthly project-wise cost reports and variance analysis
- Coordinate with Civil, Projects, Procurement, and Operations teams
- Manage vendor and contractor ledger reconciliations and payment follow-ups
- Ensure compliance with accounting policies, internal controls, and audit requirements
- Support internal and external audits related to civil and construction expenditures
- Strong understanding of construction accounting and civil project costing
- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting/ERP software
