As the company continues to grow, we are looking for a dependable Construction Bookkeeper / Accounting Manager who can help maintain clean financial records while supporting day to day office operations.

What You Will Be Responsible For

● Accounting Responsibilities

● Manage day-to-day bookkeeping using QuickBooks

● Process and maintain certified payroll in compliance with regulations

● Track job costs and project expenses accurately

● Prepare and post journal entries

● Reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements

● Assist with month end and year end closing processes

● Maintain clean and organized financial records and documentation

● Support ownership with financial reporting when needed

● Office and Administrative Responsibilities

● Answer incoming phone calls when needed

● Assist with scheduling estimates when the office coordinator is unavailable

● Provide general administrative support to the team

● Maintain organized office records and documentation

Qualifications

● Previous experience as a bookkeeper, staff accountant, or similar accounting role

● Strong experience using QuickBooks

● Experience with certified payroll strongly preferred

● Experience with job costing and project-based accounting

● Construction industry accounting experience strongly preferred

● Strong understanding of journal entries and general ledger accounting

Compensation and Benefits

● Hourly Pay: $30 to $35 per hour depending on experience

● Benefits available after 90 days

● 401(k) with 3 percent employer match after one year

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
