Position Title: Construction Director
Location: Dubai
Department: Construction / Projects
Reports To: Manageing Director

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Construction Director to lead and oversee all construction operations and project activities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing project execution, ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards, controlling budgets and schedules, and leading multidisciplinary construction teams to successfully deliver projects on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

  • Direct and manage all construction projects from planning to completion.
  • Oversee project schedules, budgets, resources, and procurement activities.
  • Ensure compliance with company standards, safety regulations, and quality requirements.
  • Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal departments.
  • Monitor project performance and implement corrective actions when necessary.
  • Lead, mentor, and evaluate project managers, engineers, and site teams.
  • Review contracts, technical documents, and project reports.
  • Ensure timely project delivery while maintaining cost efficiency and operational excellence.
  • Develop and implement construction strategies and operational improvements.
  • Attend progress meetings and provide regular updates to senior management.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
  • Minimum 20 years of experience in construction management, including leadership roles.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, project management, and safety standards.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple large-scale projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in project management software and MS Office.
  • PMP certification is an advantage.
