Job Responsibilities

• Develop construction drawings and blueprints for residential and light commercial projects
• Collaborate with project managers and clients to refine designs
• Make revisions and ensure accuracy of plans based on project changes
• Maintain compliance with building codes and design standards
• Use CAD or similar design software daily

Qualifications

• Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar design tools required
• Prior drafting or design experience in construction preferred
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork

Requirements

• Proficiency in CAD software including AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and MicroStation.
• Knowledge of drafting techniques and principles related to construction and mechanical design.
• Familiarity with graphic design concepts and system design processes is a plus.
• Experience with 3D modeling tools such as Grasshopper 3D, Rhinoceros 3D, SolidWorks is desirable.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to produce precise technical drawings.
• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members.
• A background in interior design or architectural drafting is preferred but not mandatory.
