Arete is seeking a Graphics Design Specialist to design and produce graphic art, visual materials, documentation and training artifacts for information technology (IT) platforms. This role focuses on creating multi-page user guides, textbook-style reference materials, job aids, and short tutorial videos that help users learn the systems quickly and perform complex workflows with confidence. Submission of work samples and verification through professional references is required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and maintain multi-page user guides (50+ pages over time) with consistent formatting, navigation, and reusable templates.
• Create clear, step-by-step procedures using annotated screenshots, callouts, and workflow diagrams.
• Produce short screen-record tutorial videos that include captions and on-screen guidance.
• Build, manage, and enforce templates so updates stay consistent as content evolves.
• Partner with SMEs and testers to incorporate changes quickly during an active development cycle.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 7+ years of experience using a variety of design and editing tools and software such as Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) and Figma.
• 7+ years of experience creating training and instructional materials such as job aids, curriculum content, and reference guides.
• 7+ years of experience producing SOPs, quick reference cards, and one-pagers.
• Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
• Familiarity with accessibility basics including contrast, readable typography, and captioning.
• Comfortable documenting UI-heavy workflows using screenshots and detailed process steps.
