Overview:
Provide technical expertise, support and oversight throughout the construction process, ensuring adherence to specifications, quality standards, and safety protocols. Collaborate with construction teams to execute projects efficiently, from conception to completion, while maintaining strict budgetary control and adherence to timelines. Generate accurate progress reports, conduct risk assessments, and derive lessons learned to enhance future project outcomes, mitigating risks and optimizing cost efficiency.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Technical Expertise Provision:

Provide technical expertise to construction teams, offering guidance on complex engineering challenges and ensuring adherence to industry standards.

Offer technical guidance and instruction to construction workers, utilizing expertise to ensure tasks are carried out effectively and in alignment with project requirements.

Collaborate closely with construction workers to troubleshoot issues and implement solutions in real-time, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and learning on-site.

Conduct regular training sessions (toolbox talks) to enhance the skills and knowledge of construction workers, promoting adherence to safety protocols and quality standards.

Serve as a resource for construction workers, answering questions, clarifying instructions, and providing technical assistance as needed to optimize project performance.

Stay updated on emerging technologies and construction methods, incorporating relevant advancements into project execution.
Technical Oversight and Execution:

Execute construction plans and designs under the guidance of the Construction Manager, ensuring adherence to specifications.

Supervise construction activities on-site, coordinating with construction teams to ensure smooth project execution.

Conduct technical inspections and quality checks to maintain compliance with established standards.
Safety Monitoring:

Ensure strict compliance with safety protocols and regulations, providing guidance to construction workers on the importance of adhering to safety measures.

Provide training on safety protocols and procedures to construction workers, always emphasizing the importance of following safety guidelines, with the support of the HSSE resources.

Actively monitor and address any safety concerns raised by construction workers, taking proactive measures to mitigate risks and prevent accidents.
Collaboration and Communication:

Collaborate with the Construction Manager, PMO, and other stakeholders to communicate project requirements effectively.

Coordinate with external vendors and consultants to leverage specialized expertise for project success.
Continuous Improvement and Efficiency

Identify areas for improvement in construction processes and methodologies.

Work with the Construction Manager and finance teams to optimize project budgets and resource allocation.

Gather feedback from project stakeholders to drive continuous improvement in construction processes.
Qualifications/Requirements
Required
Knowledge and Experience:

Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
Education:

Bachelor’s degree in architectural, industrial, electrical engineering, or any other related field.
