We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Head of Estimation & Quantity to lead our estimation and quantity surveying team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction cost estimation, quantity surveying, and project budget management, with a focus on delivering accurate and cost-effective solutions.

Industries preferred: Experience in real estate development, construction, civil engineering, commercial development, infrastructure, and project management
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee the estimation and quantity surveying processes for all projects, ensuring accuracy and adherence to budgetary constraints.
- Develop comprehensive project estimates, including materials, labour, and overhead costs, based on project specifications and requirements.
- Conduct detailed quantity take-offs and cost analysis for various stages of projects, from initial concept to final execution.
- Collaborate closely with project managers, architects, and contractors to review and validate project budgets and estimates.
- Provide strategic guidance on cost-saving measures and value engineering options without compromising quality.
- Prepare and present detailed reports and analysis on project costs, variances, and profitability.
- Stay updated on industry trends, material costs, and construction methods to optimize project cost estimation practices.
- Manage and mentor a team of estimators and quantity surveyors, ensuring high standards of performance and professional development.
- Implement and maintain standardized procedures and tools for estimation and quantity surveying across the organization.

- Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale projects and delivering accurate cost estimates within budget constraints.
- Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and regulations.
- Proficiency in estimation software and tools.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and stakeholders.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Certification as a Professional Quantity Surveyor (PQS) or similar designation is desirable.

Bachelors degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. Masters degree preferred.
Minimum of 3-9 years of experience in construction cost estimation and quantity surveying, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
