The Construction Inspector is responsible for conducting inspections for public infrastructure, such as capital improvement projects, private development projects, testing and monitoring soil, concrete, asphalt, sewer, water, utilities, and pipe installations. Inspectors will conduct meetings, and prepare construction, final acceptance letters, and other reports for management.
The ideal candidate has strong knowledge of local and national building codes, proven experience as a construction inspector or in a directly-related field, excellent communication and documentation skills, and is detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities. We prefer candidates to have CCWP Certification 1 in Water Distribution and/or Sewer Collection, Traffic Control Technician/Supervisor certification, and Rocky Mountain Asphalt Education Center- Asphalt Inspector Certification Level 1.
