Construction Laborer

Fast-growing construction company seeking an experienced Construction Laborer to join our team. We specialize in grading and demolition projects and are looking for a reliable, safety-focused individual with hands-on construction experience.

Responsibilities

• Support grading, demolition, and site preparation operations
• Assist with material handling, loading, site cleanup, and daily job site tasks
• Operate heavy equipment when assigned (experience is a plus, not required)
• Excavators, Loaders, Motor Graders
• Safely operate small equipment and tools, including:
• Drills, Saws, Pavement Breakers, Jackhammers, Concrete & Asphalt Breakers
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and safe condition
• Follow all company and project-specific safety protocols
• Perform other construction-related duties as assigned

Requirements

• MUST have prior general laborer experience in the construction industry
• Valid Driver’s License (required)
• Punctual and reliable
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

Working Conditions

• Work is performed outdoors and may include heat, humidity, dust, noise, and debris exposure
• Overtime as needed depending on project demands
• Must be physically able to lift and carry 50 lbs regularly
• PPE, long sleeves, and head protection required at all times
• Employment is contingent upon passing company drug and alcohol testing requirements

Wages — Public Works / Prevailing Wage

• This position includes work on public works projects
• Wages are paid at prevailing wage rates in compliance with the California Department of Industrial Relations (DIR)
• May involve Davis-Bacon and/or State-regulated prevailing wage job sites when assigned
• Prevailing wage pay applies only to qualifying public works project assignments

Preferred (Not Required)

• Experience operating heavy equipment
