Responsibilities
- Assist with the installation of rebar, framing, drywall, roofing, and other structural components using hand tools and power tools.
- Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts, concrete pumps, and mixers safely and efficiently.
- Read blueprints and schematics to support accurate construction processes and ensure adherence to project specifications.
- Perform concrete finishing, stucco application, caulking, tile laying, flooring installation, and masonry work to achieve high-quality results.
- Conduct demolition, renovation tasks, restoration work, and site cleanup to maintain a safe and organized job site.
- Support the installation of heavy-duty systems such as metal stud framing, concrete forms, and masonry structures.
- Use mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues and assist with construction estimating when needed.
Requirements
- Prior experience working on construction sites or in related trades such as carpentry, masonry, or roofing is highly preferred.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and consistently throughout the workday.
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, scaffolding, and heavy equipment operation.
- Knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and construction safety protocols.
- Strong physical stamina with the ability to stand, walk, climb ladders or scaffolding for extended periods.
- Valid driver’s license for commercial driving or operating company vehicles is a plus.
- Willingness to learn new skills such as concrete pumping or metal stud framing; certification in relevant areas is advantageous.
