About the Role
Castlerock Homes is a growing custom residential home builder based in Idaho Falls, constructing quality homes throughout Southeast Idaho. We're seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Construction Management Assistant / AI & Design Coordinator to support our homebuilding projects.
This unique in-person role combines construction coordination, interior design support, and modern technology tools. It's an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys both the building process and creative design work.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and utilize AI tools to track construction progress, manage schedules, and identify potential delays
- Assist homeowners with color selections and interior finishes
- Develop, maintain, and update interior color and material packages
- Manage follow-up communications with subcontractors, suppliers, and homeowners
- Maintain accurate project documentation, punch lists, and change orders
- Research new products, materials, and technologies to improve efficiency and design
What We’re Looking For
- Strong organizational and communication skills (written and verbal)
- QuickBooks experience is a very high qualifier – strong preference for candidates with prior QuickBooks use in construction or accounting
- Experience or strong interest in residential construction, interior design, or project coordination
- Comfortable learning and using AI tools (training provided)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office / Google Workspace
- Eye for design and color coordination
- Positive attitude, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects
Bonus Qualifications:
- Previous experience in construction, real estate, or interior design
- Knowledge of local subcontractors and suppliers in Eastern Idaho
- Basic understanding of building codes and construction sequencing
