Position: Construction Manager (High-Rise Building)

Key Role & Summary
The Construction Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of high-rise building projects from planning through to completion. This position demands a professional with at least 10 years of experience in high-rise construction, strong leadership skills, and deep knowledge of regulatory compliance & high standards of quality, safety, and cost control.
Responsibilities
- Lead, manage and coordinate all construction activities on the high-rise project, ensuring compliance with scope, schedule, quality, cost, and safety targets.
- Develop and maintain project schedules; track progress; ensure milestones are met.
- Budget management: prepare cost estimates, track expenditures, and implement cost control measures.
- Procurement and resource planning: materials, subcontractors, labor, and equipment.
- Ensure compliance with Dubai and UAE building codes, regulations, fire safety, environmental, and other statutory requirements.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, consultants, subcontractors, and clients to ensure alignment and delivery of project specifications.
- Quality control: monitor workmanship; enforce quality standards; manage inspections and any quality assurance programs.
- Safety management: enforce HSE (Health, Safety, Environment) policies; conduct site safety audits; ensure safe work practices are followed.
- Risk management: identify potential risks or delays; develop mitigation strategies.
- Reporting: Provide regular progress reports to senior management, stakeholders; handle change orders and client communications.
- Team leadership: manage site team (supervisors, foremen, site engineers), mentor staff, resolve conflicts, ensure team performance.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
- Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in high-rise (multi-storey) building construction.
- Prior experience managing projects of comparable scope (structural, façade, MEP, fit-outs, etc.).
- Strong knowledge of local regulations, codes, and standards in Dubai/UAE.
- Excellent understanding of construction methods, materials, structural systems, and building technologies.
- Proven leadership & people management skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong financial acumen: budgeting, cost control, financial reporting.
- Proficiency with project management software/tools (e.g. MS Project, Primavera, Procore, etc.).
