Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager with strong MEP (Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing) expertise to lead and oversee all phases of high-rise building construction. The ideal candidate will bring 12–15 years of hands-on project management experience and a proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale, technically challenging developments.
Key Responsibilities
- Clearly communicate the company’s Vision, Mission, Values, and Goals across all levels.
- Prioritize Health and Safety on site, ensuring it is actively promoted and upheld at every level.
- Lead, guide, and support construction teams to deliver projects on schedule and within budget.
- Analyze and identify all tasks, challenges, and risks throughout the project lifecycle—from initiation to completion.
- Determine labor requirements and allocate personnel to project sites effectively.
- Inspect and review projects to ensure compliance with contracts, safety standards, quality codes, and applicable regulations.
- Prepare and process purchase requests for materials, supplies, and equipment necessary for project execution.
- Collaborate with clients, consultants, designers, and subcontractors to address and resolve issues related to procedures, complaints, or construction challenges.
- Investigate on-site incidents, damages, or delays to confirm that corrective procedures are properly implemented.
- Evaluate construction methodologies for cost-effectiveness and promptly inform the Project Manager of any budget deviations.
- Ensure all construction activities adhere to approved method statements and inspection test plans.
- Manage and oversee construction projects from conception through to completion.
- Conduct detailed project reviews to plan schedules, allocate resources, and estimate costs.
- Monitor all on-site and off-site construction activities to ensure compliance with safety and building regulations.
- Coordinate and supervise construction workers and subcontractors to maintain smooth operations.
- Select and manage tools, materials, and equipment while tracking inventory and ensuring contractual performance standards are met.
- Review daily work progress and address any issues affecting timelines or quality.
- Prepare and present internal and external reports on project status and progress.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering (Master’s preferred).
- 12–15 years of progressive construction management experience, with a focus on high-rise towers and complex MEP systems.
- Strong understanding of building codes, construction methodologies, and project planning.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in project management software and MS Office tools.
