Construction Manager

BRICKS INTEGRATED General Trading and Contracting Co. is seeking a Construction Manager to oversee all on-site construction activities for commercial, residential, and industrial building projects. This role is responsible for managing project execution, ensuring adherence to specifications, budget, and schedule, and maintaining strict safety and quality standards. The position reports to the Projects Director or General Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, organize, direct, and control all construction site operations and personnel.
• Review project plans and specifications to develop detailed construction schedules and resource plans.
• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, vendors, and site staff to ensure project milestones are met.
• Monitor project budgets, track costs, and approve invoices and payment requests.
• Ensure all construction activities comply with approved drawings, building codes, and safety regulations.
• Conduct regular site meetings with project teams, clients, and consultants.
• Resolve technical and construction-related issues that arise on site.
• Implement and enforce the project's Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) plan.
• Oversee quality control inspections and ensure work meets the required standards.
• Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports to senior management.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of construction experience, with at least 5 years in a managerial role on major building projects in Kuwait.
• Proven track record of successfully delivering commercial, residential, or industrial projects on time and within budget.
• In-depth knowledge of construction methods, materials, Kuwaiti building codes, and regulations.
• Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera P6) and MS Office.
• Fluency in Arabic and English is required.
• Valid Kuwaiti driving license.
