Construction Manager

QStaffers is currently looking for a Construction Manager for one of our partners, a global leader in the Development Industry.


Job Summary :

Construction Manager will plan, manage, and control all construction activities to ensure projects are executed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with approved drawings, specifications, contractual requirements, and quality standards, while coordinating effectively with internal teams, clients, consultants, subcontractors, and authorities.


Responsibilities:


• Ensure effective planning, coordination, and supervision of construction activities in accordance with approved project plans, drawings, and specifications.

• Monitor project timelines, track progress, and take corrective actions to meet milestones and deadlines.

• Ensure all construction work meets quality standards, contractual requirements, and company policies.

• Coordinate with internal departments, clients, consultants, subcontractors and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution.

• Ensure construction activities comply with contract terms, method statements, and company procedures.

• Provide accurate progress, risk, and performance reports to the Project Manager and senior management.

• Ensure required inspections, testing, and approvals are completed and documented.

• Enforce compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations and ensure safe working practices on site.

• Identify construction risks and site issues and implement corrective actions promptly.


Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, construction management, or related field.

• Professional certifications ( preferred ): PMP, or equivalent construction/management certification.

• Minimum 10-12 years of experience in construction management or site supervision, preferably in building, infrastructure, or large-scale projects.


Skills:

• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building codes.

• Ability to work with Primavera and other relevant Project Management software.

• Problem-solving and decision-making abilities for site-related issues.

• Time management and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

• Financial awareness for budget monitoring and cost control.

• Proficient user of Microsoft Office365 Apps and its applications.
