Construction Manager

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct regular site visits across multiple projects to monitor construction progress and site activities.
  • Lead progress, coordination, and technical meetings with contractors, consultants, and internal stakeholders.
  • Ensure construction works comply with approved drawings, specifications, project documents, and contractual requirements.
  • Review contractor schedules, monitor progress against the baseline program, and identify potential delays.
  • Coordinate with consultants and contractors to resolve technical issues and construction conflicts.
  • Monitor the quality of construction works and ensure compliance with project specifications and standards.
  • Review contractor submittals, shop drawings, and material approvals in coordination with consultants.
  • Oversee implementation of health, safety, and environmental (HSE) requirements on site.
  • Review and verify progress reports, site reports, and contractor submissions.
  • Monitor construction costs and coordinate with cost consultants regarding variations and change orders.
  • Review contractor payment applications and confirm progress achieved on site.
  • Coordinate inspections, testing, and approvals required from authorities and regulatory bodies.
  • Track project risks and provide mitigation strategies when required.
  • Support project close-out activities including snagging, testing & commissioning, and project handover.
  • Prepare and present regular progress reports to senior management.




Requirements

Requirements
Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or related field.


Experience
  • 10–15 years of experience in construction and project delivery.
  • Minimum 5 years in a construction management role.
  • Experience in mixed-use, residential, or large real estate developments.
  • Experience working with consultants, and contractors in Saudi Arabia or GCC.


Software & Tools
  • Primavera P6 or MS Project (schedule review).
  • AutoCAD and drawing review tools.
  • Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • PMIS platforms such as Procore, Aconex, or similar systems.
