Construction Manager 2 (Aviation)

The County is seeking a highly qualified professional to oversee and manage complex roofing construction and rehabilitation projects across County facilities. This position involves advanced technical, administrative, and project‑management responsibilities, with a strong emphasis on roofing systems, building envelope performance, and contractor oversight. Candidates must demonstrate extensive experience in roofing construction, including a minimum of five (5) years managing roofing contracts or projects. Preference will be given to applicants holding a valid roofing license.

Applicants qualifying for employment with the Miami-Dade Aviation Department will be subject to extensive security screening, including but not limited to fingerprint checks, employment verification, and other such procedures as may be mandated by federal law. The security clearance required by federal law is a continuing condition of employment.
