Key Responsibilities

• Act as the Client’s on-site civil engineering representative
  
• Review and comment on civil designs, shop drawings, method statements, and material submittals
  
• Monitor civil works executed by the General Contractor for compliance with project requirements
  
• Coordinate with the Controller / PMC company to align inspections, findings, and technical assessments
  
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, IFC drawings, and applicable standards
  
• Oversee and review civil works including:
  
• Earthworks, grading, and site preparation
  
• Foundations (including heavy equipment and wind turbine manufacturing machinery foundations)
  
• Concrete works (structural and non-structural)
  
• Steel structures (civil interface)
  
• Roads, pavements, and drainage systems
  
• Buildings and industrial facilities
  
• Witness inspections, testing, and quality checks from a Client perspective
  
• Identify technical risks, quality issues, and deviations and report them to the Client
  
• Support the Client in resolving civil technical issues
  
• Review as-built drawings, test results, and handover documentation
  
• Participating in technical and coordination meetings with the Client, Controller company, and General Contractor
  
Promote and monitor compliance with site HSE requirements

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering
  
• 10+ years of experience in industrial or infrastructure project.
  
• Experience working in a client-side or Consultant role
  
• Strong background in overseeing General Contractor civil works
  
• Experience coordinating with PMC / Controller companies
  
• Prior experience in Oman or GCC countries is an advantage
