Position Objectives:
OSP Construction Manager will be responsible to manage, coordinate and report on all OSP Inspection activities in the field.
Job Description & Responsibilities:

Manage and oversee the construction activities and field teams.

Oversee trenching, directional drilling, duct installation, cable pulling, splicing, and restoration activities.

Review construction drawings, route maps, splice diagrams, and as-built documentation.

Manage the OSP inspection tasks performed by the OSP field teams.

Resolve field issues, utility conflicts, and construction-related challenges.

Provide technical guidance on all OSP implementation activities

Ensure adherence to telecom construction standards and local regulations

Monitor performance of the field teams and initiate corrective actions as required to ensure timely and accurate execution of the work.

Verify progress and quality of work of the vendors and contractors against agreed specifications and plans, and report any deviations as per project process.

Conduct field inspections and quality audits throughout project execution.

Enforce health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies across all sites.

Ensure field teams comply with health and safety / local safety regulations and company procedures.

Conduct safety meetings, toolbox talks, and incident investigations.

Ensure teams are adhering to municipality compliance

Review site reports, identify discrepancies, technical issues and other blocking issues, and escalate as necessary.

Verify the accuracy and quality for all documents and site reports submitted by the contractors

In coordination with contractors, vendors and Ooredoo, prepare acceptance schedule and related documents

Represent the project team in Ooredoo District meetings as and when required
-
Align the and ensure the project schedules and targets are delivered as per the Project Plan

Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and according to design specifications.

Manage risk mitigation strategies for field operations
Qualifications & Experience:

Minimum 8+ years' telecommunication experience.

University Degree equivalent in Engineering or Telecommunication

Deployment management and supervision experience.

Analytical skills and understanding of reporting standards/methods, e.g., Crystal reporting

Highly experienced of MS Office Tools (e.g. Excel, PowerPoint, Word), plus Visio and databases
-
Excellent communication skills in both written and spoken English language

Capable of handling multi requests and activities
