Hiring: Construction Manager - Power

Location: Ahmadi, Kuwait

We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager to lead and oversee the delivery of a large-scale EPC power project in Ahmadi, Kuwait. This role requires a strong leader with deep EPC and IPP project experience, who can drive site performance, ensure compliance, and manage stakeholders effectively.

🔑 Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and organize the integrated site team to supervise EPC Contractor’s construction, commissioning, and quality performance through COD.
• Ensure strict compliance with HSE rules, approved method statements, and risk analyses at all construction stages.
• Monitor progress, identify critical path activities, and implement recovery plans to secure project schedules.
• Participate in site and progress meetings, providing input for monthly progress reports and contractor invoice checks.
• Oversee site logistics (lay-out, offices, storage areas) and daily management of technical staff.
• Collaborate with planning teams to track actual vs. planned progress and identify optimization opportunities.

🎓 Key Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (or related discipline).
• 15+ years of project management experience, with at least 8 years in relevant technology.
• Strong experience in EPC/Independent Power Producer projects.
• Proven track record in managing large, full-cycle EPC projects (minimum two completed).
• PMP or equivalent certification preferred.
• Strong knowledge of international standards, environmental legislation, and construction best practices.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Fluent in English.
