Construction Manager / Superintendent – Residential & Commercial Projects

CONSTRUCTION MANAGER/SUPERINTENDANT - Residential & Commercial

We are a growing construction company managing residential and commercial exterior, interior, and building projects in Oklahoma.

The Construction Manager is responsible for overseeing all construction operations from project kickoff through completion. This role ensures projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to HWRC’s quality standards. The Construction Manager sells and closes projects, leads field crews, coordinates subcontractors, and works closely with project managers, sales, and office staff to deliver exceptional roofing projects and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Customer Relations

● Solicit and network for jobs

● Meet with homeowners and property managers

● Assist in closing projects

● Maintain strong customer relationships

● Represent the company professionally at all times

● Provide inspections and estimates for prospective jobs, ensuring correct profit margins on labor and materials

Project Oversight

● Manage day-to-day construction operations for residential and/or commercial projects

● Oversee multiple projects simultaneously
Ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and on budget

● Conduct pre-job planning and jobsite readiness reviews

Field Leadership

● Supervise foremen, crew leaders, and subcontractors

● Assign labor, equipment, and materials to projects

● Provide on-site leadership, training, and performance feedback

● Enforce company policies, quality standards, and best practices

Quality Control

● Inspect work to ensure compliance with company standards, manufacturer specifications, and local building codes

● Address deficiencies, warranty issues, and punch-list items

Safety & Compliance

● Enforce OSHA regulations and company safety programs

● Conduct safety meetings and jobsite safety audits

● Ensure crews use proper PPE and follow safe work practices

Scheduling & Coordination

● Coordinate project schedules with production manager and office staff

● Manage weather-related adjustments and manpower planning

● Ensure materials are ordered, delivered, and staged properly

Communication

● Serve as the primary field point of contact for subcontractors

● Obtain estimates from subcontractors and manage them during jobs to ensure job timeliness and quality

● Find and vet new subcontractors

● Collaborate with project managers and the production manager

● Communicate project status, delays, and issues to leadership

Budget & Cost Control

● Monitor labor efficiency and production rates

● Assist in controlling job costs and minimizing waste

● Review change orders and field adjustments

Required Qualifications

● 5+ years of construction experience

● Proven ability to sell and close construction projects

● Experience managing crews and job sites

● Understanding of building codes, safety regulations, and construction best practices

● Ability to read blueprints, scopes of work, and job plans

● Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills

● Experience with production tracking or construction management software

● Experience with mobile apps for taking photos, creating inspections, and project documentation

● Working knowledge of insurance claims processes, including interpreting scopes of work and coordinating claim-related documentation.

● Must be able to pass a background check

● Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Preferred Skills

● OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification

● Insurance restoration experience

● Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus

Compensation

Commensurate with experience and performance

Compensation may include:

● Base salary

● Sales commissions

● Performance bonuses

● Vehicle allowance or company vehicle

Pay: $62,622.07 - $150,000.00 per year
