Construction Mechanic

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in automotive diagnostics and repair, with the ability to work on a variety of vehicles and machinery. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can effectively troubleshoot issues, perform maintenance, and provide excellent customer service.

Duties

• Conduct thorough automotive diagnostics to identify mechanical issues.
• Perform brake repairs and tire services to ensure vehicle safety.
• Maintain and repair heavy machinery, including Backhoes and Excavators.
• Execute soldering tasks as needed for electrical repairs.
• Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their vehicle needs.
• Assist in heavy lifting and moving of equipment as required.
• Ensure all work is completed in compliance with safety standards and regulations.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in automotive repair and maintenance.
• Strong skills in automotive diagnostics and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with brake repair, tire service, and air brake systems.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and operate various types of machinery safely.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly.
• Certification or training in mechanics is preferred but not mandatory.

Pay: $22.00 - $27.00 per hour
