Construction Painter / Renovation assistance

Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Painter to join our hotel rennovation team! In this role, you will be the artist behind transforming spaces through expert painting techniques, contributing to hotel renovation project. The project would inlcude, but not limited to, preparing and painting 98 guest rooms, guest room doors and frames, public area soffits and ceilings.

This is a temporary position during a hotel rennovation. The project would last from late December/January until April or May.

Duties

• Prepare guest room by removing wall fixtures and protecting furniture and fixtures.
• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, drywall patching, and applying primers to ensure optimal paint adhesion.
• Apply paints, stains, varnishes, and specialty coatings using hand tools and power tools such as airless paint sprayers.
• Conduct restoration and renovation painting on existing structures, ensuring seamless blending with original surfaces.

Requirements

• Dependable, relaible and the ability to work with limited supervision.
• Accountability to schedules and delivery of quality work.
• Proven experience in construction painting, including residential and/or commercial projects.
• Knowledge of surface preparation techniques.
• Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, and airless paint sprayers.

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32.0 – 40.0 per week
