Construction Paralegal/Legal Documentation Specialist

Rural Solar Restoration is a full-service solar repair and restoration company founded on a fundamental principle that careful planning and highly skilled professionals can quickly and efficiently overcome any issue that may exist on commercial, industrial, and utility scale solar installations. We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Paralegal to join our team.

This position is a remote, part-time role, estimated at 5-10 hours/week. The work is generally flexible, though some availability during daytime business hours is required to make phone calls and attend meetings. Our paralegal will play a vital role in ensuring legal and regulatory compliance throughout our projects. This position involves contract management, regulatory research, and transactional support. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and capable of balancing multiple responsibilities.

· Maintain a high level of professionalism and customer service at all times

· Possess emotional intelligence and interpersonal skills needed to work effectively in diverse teams

· Regularly utilize computer software to email and manage tasks

· Draft, review and manage legal agreements and documents (e.g. PPAs, NDAs, service contracts, site agreements)

· Conduct legal and regulatory research related to the solar industry

· Monitor changes in relevant laws and regulations affecting the solar industry

· Identify risks and ensure compliance with legal standards

· Prepare, file, organize and maintain regulatory documents

· Track contract obligations, renewals, and deadlines

· Respond to internal legal queries and coordinate with external counsel as needed

· Bachelor’s degree required; Paralegal certificate or law degree strongly preferred

· 1+ year of relevant experience in a legal or regulatory support role, ideally within construction or renewable energy

· Strong knowledge of contract law and regulatory compliance in construction and/or solar energy

· Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills

· Highly organized and able to meet and manage deadlines

· Ability to work independently and learn new tools and processes

· Hourly Pay $30-$35/hour
