Job Summary:

Delta Gulf Oman is looking for Construction Project Controls Manager which will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining systems to monitor project scope, schedule, cost, and risk, ensuring projects stay on budget and timeline. They provide the analytical backbone—monitoring cash flow, earned value management (EVM), and progress reporting—to enable informed decision-making by project managers.

Core Responsibilities

• Scheduling & Planning: Create, maintain, and monitor detailed construction schedules (often using Primavera P6 or MS Project).
• Cost Control & Estimating: Develop budgets, track actual expenditures against baselines, and forecast final costs to prevent overruns.
• Risk Management: Identify potential risks, maintain a risk register, and develop mitigation strategies.
• Performance Reporting: Produce monthly reports on project progress, cost variance, schedule variance, and key KPIs.
• Change Management: Manage project scope changes, assess their cost/schedule impacts, and update baselines.
• Contract Management: Track contractual obligations, subcontractor performance, and cost impacts.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Experience: 10+ years in project controls, planning, or cost engineering, specifically within construction.
• Technical Expertise: Proficiency in project management software (Primavera P6, MS Project), ERP systems, and advanced Excel.
• Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze large sets of financial and progress data, utilizing techniques like Earned Value Management (EVM).
• Communication: Strong ability to communicate project status to management, clients, and field teams

Qualifications & Skills:Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Master’s degree (preferred but not mandatory).

Experience:

• 8–10+ years of progressive experience in project controls, with at least 3–5 years in a managerial or lead role.
• Proven experience in office-based project control for large-scale projects.
• Industry background in [e.g., oil & gas, infrastructure, construction, power, etc.]
