Job Purpose:
This role is responsible for ensuring that all construction and construction related jobs executed onsite are safe and compliant with all relevant regulations. This role will develop, implement, and oversee the construction safety program for all employees, contractors, and visitors. It involves monitoring compliance with safety regulations, conducting safety training, and investigating incidents to prevent future occurrences.

This role will develop, implement, and oversee the construction safety program for all employees, contractors, and visitors. It involves monitoring compliance with safety regulations, conducting safety training, and investigating incidents to prevent future occurrences.
Key Responsibilities
Construction Safety Program Development
- Develop and update construction safety plan, policies, procedures, and programs to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.

Conduct risk assessments and hazard analyses to identify potential safety issues.
- Develop and update PTW system and contractor management as per Haleon Global standard requirements.
- Keep updated log of daily PTW issuance and perform gemba to ensure safety.

Develop contractor engagement plan to develop contractors.
- Provide safety training to employees, contractors, and visitors.
- Ensure toolbox talks and safety meetings are conducted at each project as per construction safety and project plan.

Ensure that all personnel are aware of safety protocols and emergency procedures.
- Perform regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and identify potential hazards.
- Conduct safety audits and report findings to management.
- Recommend corrective actions and ensure implementation.

Incident Investigations and Reporting
- Stay updated on current safety regulations and industry best practices.
- Ensure all construction activities comply with OSHA, EPA, and other relevant regulations.
- Maintain records of safety – related activities and incidents.

Emergency Response
- Collaborate with project managers, site supervisors, and other stakeholders to promote a culture of safety.

Communicate safety expectations and performance to all levels of the organization.
- Bachelor’s degree Engineering, or a related field.
- 4-6 years in construction safety.
- Knowledge of safety and regulatory standards (E.g., NFPA 70, OSHA).
- Strong leadership skills.
