Job Description-
Lead and supervise all tank construction activities including fabrication, erection, welding, and testing.

Manage installation of API 650/620 storage tanks, including bottom plates, shell courses, roof structures (fixed/floating roof), and nozzles.

Ensure compliance with ADNOC standards, API codes, ASME, and project specifications.

Review and approve method statements, welding procedures (WPS), ITPs, lifting plans, and risk assessments.

Oversee tank foundation preparation, settlement checks, and civil interface coordination.

Monitor welding quality, NDT activities, hydrostatic testing, vacuum box testing, and dimensional checks.

Coordinate with QA/QC, HSE, engineering, and planning teams for smooth workflow.

Ensure strict adherence to Permit-to-Work (PTW) system and HSE regulations.

Manage subcontractors, supervisors, and workforce to achieve productivity targets.

Participate in client inspections and ensure readiness for third-party audits.

Prepare progress reports, manpower planning, and construction schedules.

Support pre-commissioning and handover documentation.
Qualifications-
Bachelor’s / Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent

Minimum 12–15 years of experience in Oil & Gas tank construction projects.

At least 5 years in a senior supervisory or section head role managing tank erection works.

Strong knowledge of API 650, API 620, API 653, and related standards.

Proven experience in construction of large diameter storage tanks.

Familiarity with hydrotesting, settlement monitoring, and tank calibration procedures.

Welding/NDT certifications (CSWIP / AWS) are an advantage.

Strong understanding of HSE requirements and ADNOC PTW systems.

Ability to manage large teams and multiple tank work fronts.

Strong leadership, coordination, and problem-solving skills.

Experience working on ADNOC or major GCC Oil & Gas projects preferred.

Proficiency in MS Office and construction reporting tools.
