Job Summary- Work Location Gulf Bahrain
The Project Engineer supports the Project Manager in planning, coordinating, and executing construction activities to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in planning, scheduling, and execution of construction works
- Review IFC drawings, specifications, and method statements
- Coordinate with site engineers, supervisors, subcontractors, and consultants
- Monitor project progress and prepare daily/weekly progress reports
- Ensure works are carried out as per approved drawings and quality standards
- Coordinate material submittals, shop drawings, and approvals
- Monitor site activities and resolve technical issues
- Ensure compliance with HSE regulations and company policies
- Participate in inspections, snagging, and handover activities
- Support cost control and quantity tracking
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- 4–7 years of experience in construction projects
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and standards
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings
- Experience coordinating with consultants and subcontractors
Skills & Competencies
- Strong coordination and communication skills
- Problem-solving and analytical abilities
- Time management and reporting skills
- Proficiency in MS Office and AutoCAD
