Site Engineer responsibilities and duties
- Perform all duties assigned by the Project Manager
- Manage and Supervise Construction Work in a safe, timely and sustainable manner
- Enforce the relevant safety rules at site and make sure personal protective equipment is worn as and where required by the staff under their responsibility
- Report on the site progress to PM
- Interpretation of Drawing
- Take immediate corrective action to avoid any cumulative effect of such deviation and recover the delay to finish the task in due time
- Conduct regular inspections and assess the work performance done by all subcontractors
- Evaluate and resolve any discrepancies and problems arising during construction which affect the quality of works performed
- Preparing Schedule of Material Used and Available
- Preparing Work Chart Schedule
- Test equipment and machinery to ensure it is in good working order
- Maintaining Cleanliness at site and ensure all equipment is properly secure
- Follow instructions to ensure safety of entire team
- Provide Technical Support to other site team members.
Qualifications and skills
- Min. 2-3 years’ experience as a Site Engineer, Experience from RCC to finishing of building preferable
- Diploma / Degree in Civil Engineering
- Ability to complete work on time
- Possess sound understanding of drawings, interface between different objects and systems
- Possess understanding of business-critical scenarios in terms of site management and safety
- Good team player with excellent communication skills
- Possess initiative and customer focus Excellent verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in all weather conditions
- Knowledge of Autocad
