Job Summary:
The Construction Superintendent will execute and oversee the construction phase of a project to the fullest. This will include organizing, planning, and completing project tasks in a timely, effective manner. It will be the sole responsibility of the construction superintendent to assure that a project gets completed on time and within budget with the allocated resources necessary.
Duties and Responsibilities:

All necessary equipment, materials, and manpower are accounted for daily.

Manages jobsite safety for both workers and bystanders.

Work with the project team to ensure budgets and forecasted costs are accurate.

Conduct an operable, temporary work facility for each project.

Have a specific understanding of project plans, specifications, details, and customer requirements.

Assure that all construction deliverables and milestones are completed.

Manage the overall project schedule and 3-week look ahead schedules. Including creating a master schedule and updating it on a weekly basis

Generate RFI's as required to ensure completeness of the project documents and expectations.

Conduct pre-construction planning with Construction Project Manager.

Conduct on-site project meetings with sub-contractors and project stakeholders.

Manage subcontractors and all work completed while on site.

Work with the project team to establish relationships with both sub-contractors and project stakeholders.

Education/Experience:

4-year Bachelor's Degree in Engineering/Construction Management or sufficient in field experience

5+ years of proven leadership or supervisory role

10+ years of construction experience

Basic Computer skills with experience in MS Office and MS Project required.
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
Regularly required to stand; walk; climb; carry; bend; kneel; reach; push; pull; occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds; noise level is medium/low.
