Construction Site Supervisor

Key Responsibilities

1. Site Supervision & Execution

• Manage and monitor daily construction activities (civil, structural, electrical, plumbing, and finishing works).
• Ensure that all work is carried out as per approved drawings, specifications, and method statements.
• Supervise contractors, subcontractors, and workers to ensure timely and quality completion of tasks.
• Identify and resolve site-level issues, conflicts, or deviations proactively.

2. Planning & Progress Monitoring

• Prepare daily/weekly/monthly progress reports and submit to management.
• Ensure project milestones are achieved within the stipulated timeline and budget.
• Track manpower, materials, and equipment deployment on site.
• Coordinate with the planning/PMC team for schedule adherence.

3. Safety & Compliance

• Enforce strict compliance with safety protocols, PPE usage, and statutory site safety norms.
• Conduct toolbox talks, safety drills, and ensure accident/incident reporting.
• Ensure compliance with labor laws, environmental guidelines, and statutory requirements at site.

4. Quality Assurance & Control

• Check material quality (cement, steel, aggregates, etc.) before acceptance.
• Inspect workmanship to meet structural and finishing quality standards.
• Coordinate with quality engineers/consultants for inspection and approvals.
• Maintain checklists, QA/QC documentation, and non-conformance reports.

5. Coordination & Communication

• Liaise with architects, consultants, contractors, vendors, and statutory authorities.
• Communicate site requirements, design clarifications, and approvals needed.
• Attend review meetings and provide updates on project status and challenges.

6. Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain site records including drawings, inspection reports, material test certificates, attendance, and bills.
• Verify contractor bills and recommend approvals based on actual site work.
• Maintain statutory registers, permits, and licenses related to site activities.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
