Construction Superintendent

JOB OVERVIEW:

The Construction Superintendent oversees daily on-site operations, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget. This role requires strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills to manage crews, coordinate with subcontractors and vendors, and maintain high standards for quality and safety throughout the construction process.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Send, receive, review, and modify project documents
• Provide daily on-site project supervision
• Review submittals and project specifications
• Communicate effectively with designers, owners, and subcontractors to foster strong working relationships
• Demonstrate strong multitasking and management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks
• Develop and manage project lookahead schedules (including manpower and construction schedules) and review the master schedule
• Maintain subcontractor relationships and monitor performance
• Uphold quality control and enforce safety standards on-site
• Utilize field management software for reports, submittals, and observations
• Procure materials and monitor deliveries to job sites
• Coordinate with upper-level management and assist the General Superintendent with project scope and oversight
• Attend pre-bid and bid meetings, if needed
• Perform basic estimating and quantity take-offs, if needed

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma or GED required, with relevant experience in commercial construction roles.
• 3-5 years of experience managing commercial construction projects
• Must have proficient knowledge with Microsoft Word, Power Point, Excel, Adobe PDF.
• Candidate must be able to work independently.
• Must be able to multitask efficiently.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
