Construction Superintendent

*Overview*

We are seeking a skilled Construction Superintendent to oversee and manage construction projects from beginning to end. The ideal candidate will ensure that projects are completed within specified timeframes, budgets, and quality standards and be passionate about delivering a best in class experience, at every step of the process, to all stakeholders.

*Duties*

- Coordinate and supervise construction activities with all stakeholders

- Foresee issues before they happen, and/or as early as possible, to decrease their frequency and magnitude

- Conduct Pre-Construction planning

- Exhibit high levels of initiative, accountability and ownership

- Effectively manage client interactions in a manner that results in repeat business and referrals

- Oversee subcontractors and vendors

- Implement and enforce safety regulations

- Review and interpret construction plans and specifications

- Monitor project progress, address and problem solve any issues that arise

- Conduct regular inspections of construction sites

- Communicate project status to stakeholders

- Manage project documentation

*Skills*

- Proficiency in construction project management

- Ability to read, understand and apply schematics and blueprints

- Strong knowledge of quality control processes

- Experience with and knowledge of project scheduling and coordination

- Familiarity with construction site operations

- Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety protocols

- Proficient in construction management and typically used office software

- Understanding of contract management practices

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $100,000.00 - $135,000.00 per year
