An established Engineering & Construction firm is seeking an experienced Traveling Construction Superintendent to oversee commercial, municipal, education and industrial projects across the Western U.S. They are a leader in decarbonization and sustainable buildings!

This position is ideal for someone with a strong background managing field operations on technically complex projects involving HVAC, electrical, and mechanical systems. The right candidate will be comfortable leading subcontractor coordination, driving project schedules, maintaining safety and quality standards, and overseeing the successful execution of MEP scopes as part of larger commercial construction projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily onsite construction operations from mobilization through closeout
• Coordinate subcontractors, schedules, site logistics, and field activities
• Lead safety initiatives and maintain OSHA/site compliance standards
• Oversee quality control and ensure work aligns with project plans and specifications
• Support MEP coordination, equipment startup, commissioning, and inspections
• Maintain strong communication between field teams, project managers, clients, and trade partners

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Superintendent experience with a General Contractor, Mechanical Contractor, or Electrical Contractor
• Strong understanding of commercial HVAC, electrical, and technical building systems
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, schedules, specifications, and scopes of work
• Proven experience managing subcontractors and multiple trades onsite
• OSHA 30 preferred
• Ability to travel throughout Washington, Colorado, and Oregon
