PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Ensure all required materials, equipment, and inspections occur in support of project schedules.
  • Ensure jobsite is safe for all workers and visitors and in compliance with all applicable company policies and local, state, and federal rules and regulations.
  • Work with the project teams to budget, forecast, and manage field personnel, as well as management of labor, equipment, materials, tools, and other related cost considerations.
  • Prepare work plans and develop temporary facilities for projects.
  • Understand, review, and manage project plans, specifications, and manufacturer's data and execute projects based upon the related documentation.
  • Review construction documents for completeness and constructability.
  • Manage the full scope of projects through creation of a master schedule with updates made weekly.
  • Generate RFIs (Requests for Information) as required to ensure completeness of project documents and identification and clarification of any discrepancies.
  • Review submittals for compliance with project manuals and plans, manufacturer recommendations and code, and other applicable standards.
  • Conduct preconstruction planning.
  • Conduct on-site project meetings with subcontractors and construction trades lead personnel.
  • Manage subcontractors for all work performed on-site.
  • Management and supervision of on-site work crews to include mentorship and training of field personnel.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • 10-year TSA criminal background check
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or construction management preferred
  • Minimum 5 years’ proven leadership in a supervisory role
  • Minimum 7 years’ construction experience
  • Basic computer skills with intermediate experience in MS Office
  • Current experience with MS Project and Procore
  • Valid Colorado driver’s license

WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Position is based at Denver International Airport (DEN). DEN is a climate-controlled environment and the temperature, volume of noise, and exposure to the public is outside the control of First Meridian Services, Inc. Use of public spaces as provided by the airport will be required when working at DEN.
Position may require evening, weekend, or holiday work. Prolonged periods of standing or walking, with ability to comfortably climb ladders and stairs. Must have physical strength, balance, hand-eye coordination, and stamina necessary to complete jobs in various areas. Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and push and/or pull 50-pound loads at a time. Must be able to work in all weather conditions.

Salary: $130,000 - 150,000
