Construction Technician – Videography, Laser Scanning, Drone Pilot, Photography

What We Need:

· We’re seeking an experienced, organized Construction Technician with Videography experience who is ready to work with a worldwide industry leader on commercial construction projects.

· Only Candidates who have prior Videography experience and currentlylive in The Bay Area will be considered

What You Can Do:

· Professionally capture video and audio of various equipment trainings, in both Field and Classroom environments, on an active construction job site.

· Demonstrated proficiency as a Video technician on comparable projects

· Manage and coordinate all aspects of video training services with Client. This includes:

o Scheduling and coordinating training sessions with Client

o Maintaining an active calendar of trainings, events, personnel, etc.

o During each session: setting up the camera to required settings, clip on wireless microphones to instructors, signal for a start and record the instruction.

o Backing up footage, edit the raw video, add Titles, Chapters, etc

o Archiving the data and submit it to a secure website

· Proactively communicate with construction project personnel

· Navigate a construction jobsite safely

· Maintain a professional appearance on site at all times as a representative of The Company

• Be willing to be trained on, various reality capture technologies (including digital photography, laser scanning, 3D camera, and Drones) to visually document construction progress throughout The Bay Area.
• Consistently adhere to standard operating policies and procedures
• Perform regular quality assurance checks as part of daily workflow
• Produce daily reports and relay information to the Operations Manager
• Confidently use various computer formats to set up projects, manage projects, and enter data (e.g., tablets, desktops, laptops, smartphones, etc.)

Who You Are:

· You currently reside in The San Francisco Bay Area.

· You are comfortable driving to various locations to visit projects. Most projects are in San Francisco, North Bay / Napa & Davis / Sacramento.

· You have videography experience and understand video camera and audio recording systems.

· You are available to work full-time (Monday – Friday).

· You can autonomously manage a schedule, are detailed oriented, and have exceptional organizational and time-management skills

· You are a self-motivated and dependable team player

· You understand that construction site visits will make up the largest part of your day and:

o Will comply with all jobsite safety regulations, including wearing personal protective equipment (provided)

Preferences Will Be Given To:

· Candidates with Videography and Construction industry experience

· Candidates with laser scanning and/or technical computer experience

· FAA 107 Licensed Drone Pilots
