Job Description:
As a Consult Attorney at Tully Rinckey PLLC, you will play a key role in client experience by serving as the initial point of contact for prospective clients. This position focuses on conducting initial consultations, assessing legal issues, setting realistic expectations, and explaining how the Firm’s attorneys and practice groups can assist clients in achieving their goals.
The ideal candidate is client-focused, articulate, and confident discussing legal matters across multiple practice areas. You will work closely with Firm leadership and practice group attorneys to ensure a smooth transition from consultation to representation. You will:

• Conduct initial consultations with prospective clients
• Assessing legal matters across multiple practice areas
• Clearly explain legal processes, potential strategies, and next steps
• Set appropriate expectations regarding scope, timelines, and representation
• Collaborate with attorneys and Firm leadership to facilitate client onboarding
• Uphold the highest standards of professionalism, ethics, and confidentiality

What are we looking for:

• Practical legal experience in at least two of the following practice areas:
  • Family & Matrimonial Law
  • Employment Law
  • Criminal Law
  • Civil Litigation
  • Trusts & Estates
• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
• Admitted and in good standing to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
• Strong verbal communication and client-relations skills
• Sound judgment and the ability to evaluate legal issues efficiently
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
• Commitment to integrity, ethics, and legal excellence

Compensation & Benefits
Beginning January 1, 2026, newly admitted attorneys at Tully Rinckey PLLC receive a starting annual salary of $120,000-$140,000 (based on experience), along with the opportunity to earn performance-based bonuses of up to 60% of base salary, rewarding productivity, excellence, and client impact.
