CARE Pakistan is seeking a Gender and Social Norms Programme Manager to lead the implementation of the Aawaz II programme in Sindh. The programme, funded by FCDO, focuses on gender equality, prevention of GBV, early child marriage, and inclusion of marginalized groups.
The consultant will be responsible for:
Coordinating and managing Aawaz II Sindh operations.
Providing technical guidance on gender-transformative programming and social norms change.
Leading community engagement, advocacy, and capacity-building initiatives.
Overseeing M&E, reporting, safeguarding, and compliance.
Building partnerships with government, civil society, and stakeholders.
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Gender Studies, Development, or related field (Master’s preferred).
Minimum 10 years’ experience (6+ years in senior roles with INGOs/UN) in managing complex social development projects.
Proven expertise in gender-transformative programming, GBV prevention, and social inclusion.
Strong leadership, financial management, and stakeholder engagement skills.
Fluency in English & Urdu (Sindhi preferred).
Preference will be given to female candidates.
