Exchange Server & Exchange Online Management
-
Administer and maintain Exchange Server 2019 and hybrid Exchange Online environments.

Perform mailbox migrations, patching, and upgrades.

Monitor and troubleshoot mail flow, transport rules, and connectors.
Email Security & Protection
-
Configure and manage
Proofpoint Email Protection
including spam filtering, encryption, and threat detection.
-
Implement and maintain email hygiene policies and secure gateway configurations.
-
Collaborate with security teams to respond to phishing and malware incidents.
Mail Flow Optimization
-
Analyze and optimize mail routing and delivery performance.
-
Manage DNS records (MX, SPF, DKIM, DMARC) for email authentication.
-
Ensure redundancy and failover mechanisms are in place and tested.
Monitoring & Troubleshooting
-
Use tools like Exchange Admin Center, PowerShell, and Proofpoint dashboards for proactive monitoring.

Resolve issues related to mail delivery, mailbox access, and performance.
-
Maintain documentation of configurations, procedures, and incident resolutions.
Collaboration & Support
-
Work closely with internal teams and external vendors to support messaging infrastructure.
-
Provide Tier 2/3 support for email-related incidents and service requests.
-
Participate in audits and compliance reviews related to messaging systems.
Required Qualifications:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
-
5+ years of experience in enterprise messaging systems.
-
Strong expertise in:
Microsoft Exchange Server 2019
Exchange Online (Microsoft 365)
Proofpoint Email Protection
PowerShell scripting for Exchange administration

Familiarity with hybrid Exchange deployments and mail flow troubleshooting.

Understanding of email authentication protocols (SPF, DKIM, DMARC).

Key responsiblities
-
Manage and maintain on-premises Exchange 2019/SE servers, Hybrid, M365 EXO, Proofpoint Email Protection.

Configure and manage email security solutions like Proofpoint email protection/SER (secure email relay) and ensure the policies/rules are reviewed periodically.
-
Knowledge in ITIL process. Use ServiceNow for ticketing and incident/Service request/Change management.
