The Consultant, Property Tax Implementation Services (“Consultant”) supports and, at times, leads the implementation of both client-facing and internal software projects from start to finish. This includes coordinating project activities, maintaining implementation plans, managing timelines, and ensuring alignment across stakeholders.

This role is focused on delivering licensed software implementations for clients, as well as supporting internal technology initiatives such as data and analytics platforms, legacy system modernization, and other business-critical automation solutions. The Consultant works closely with cross-functional teams and clients to manage day-to-day implementation activities, support configuration and deployment, and maintain clear visibility into project status and risks.

The role also helps improve implementation processes and supports ongoing technology initiatives. It requires experience with software implementations and technology-driven projects, strong attention to detail, and the ability to independently manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Clients:

  • Assists in the preparation of client deliverables, including drafting, composing, and editing written materials.

  • Assists the team with client data acquisition as needed to support tax automation services.
  • Establishes and maintains professional relationships to ensure successful project execution and delivery.
  • Supports Managers and Project Managers in developing and maintaining project plans, timelines, and stakeholder communications.

Value:

  • Assists with analyzing existing business and system processes and provides recommendations regarding the software implementation.
  • Assists in developing and documenting business and technical requirements aligned with organizational objectives.
  • Assists with risk identification, issue resolution, and quality assurance activities throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Utilizes spreadsheets, relational databases, AI based tools, and programming software to analyze client data.
  • Conducts research using internal and external resources to support technical conclusions and solution development.
  • Analyzes and documents business and system processes, and collaborates with clients to review, define, and formalize existing property tax management processes.
  • Configures and implements property tax management software solutions, executes assigned implementation tasks, and supports day-to-day project coordination activities
  • Develops, executes, and documents testing scenarios.
  • Reviews documentation and conducts research to resolve issues.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Accounting Information Systems, Business Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, or related study. Must have 6 hours of Accounting or the ability to substitute technical courses for accounting hours, with a 3.0 GPA or higher, and a Major GPA of 3.25 or higher. One to three years audit or tax related experience preferred.

Computer Skills:

  • Experience with Microsoft tools (Outlook, Teams, Excel, Access).
  • Ability to configure and interpret some VBA code a plus.
  • Experience with OPT and Property Point software a plus.
  • Experience with Alteryx and/or AI applications a plus.

Professional Certifications and Licenses:

  • Valid driver’s license required.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Work Environment:

  • Standard indoor working environment.
  • Long periods of sitting while working at computer.
  • Occasional long periods of standing.
  • Position requires regular interaction with employees at all levels of the Firm both in-person and via e-mail and telephone.
  • Travel requirement: minimal travel, up to 10% may be required.
