Consultant Chemical Pathalogist

OMI Hospital is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Chemical Pathologist to join our dynamic medical team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the chemical pathology laboratory, ensuring accurate diagnostic services, and guiding clinical teams with expert interpretation of test results.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the chemical pathology department, ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards.
• Oversee laboratory testing processes, including biochemical, hormonal, and metabolic assays.
• Provide expert interpretation of complex laboratory results to support patient diagnosis and management.
• Ensure adherence to internal and external quality control protocols.
• Collaborate with clinicians and other medical specialists for integrated patient care.
• Supervise and mentor laboratory staff, fostering a culture of accuracy and efficiency.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of new diagnostic techniques and protocols.

Requirements:

• MBBS with FCPS in Chemical Pathology or equivalent qualification recognized by relevant medical council.
• Valid professional registration with PMC or relevant regulatory body.
• Minimum 4 to 5 years of post-qualification experience in chemical pathology.
• Strong knowledge of laboratory management, diagnostic techniques, and quality assurance protocols.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
