Woodston Personnel are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Consultant in Endodontics to join our client’s hospital in Saudi Arabia. The Consultant Endodontist is responsible for providing specialized dental care focused on the diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of pulpal and periradicular pathologies. The role encompasses the delivery of advanced endodontic therapy, management of complex and referred cases, and participation in the development of clinical guidelines, academic teaching, and research activities in accordance with institutional clinical governance frameworks.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
Diagnose and treat diseases and injuries of the dental pulp, root, and periapical tissues using advanced endodontic techniques.
Perform root canal treatments, retreatments, apicoectomies, and other specialized endodontic procedures.
Manage complex or referral cases requiring specialised endodontic expertise.
Interpret dental radiographs and use advanced diagnostic tools (e.g., CBCT) to support diagnosis and treatment planning.
Ensure high standards of infection control and patient safety at all times.
Provide consultation to general dentists and other dental specialists regarding endodontic management.
Document all patient encounters and maintain accurate, up-to-date medical and dental records.
Participate in the development and implementation of clinical protocols, policies, and quality improvement initiatives.
Contribute to departmental meetings, case reviews, and morbidity and mortality discussions.
Support accreditation and compliance activities as required by the Ministry of Health and SCFHS.
Provide mentorship and training to junior dentists, residents, and dental assistants.
Participate in continuing professional education, conferences, and workshops.
Engage in clinical research and contribute to publications or academic activities when possible.
Stay updated on advances in endodontic materials, equipment, and evidence-based practices.
Promote a culture of excellence, ethics, and patient-centered care.

Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) from a recognized institution
Postgraduate qualification in Endodontics (e.g., MSc, MClinDent, or equivalent)
US Board/ FRCS - Irish, UK, Canadian, New Zealand or Australian/ Diploma d'Etudes Specialises (DES)/ CIS French Board/ Fachart & Sub- Board/ Fellowship / Board / Fellowship / Sweden / Belgium / Finland / Spain
Must have at least 3-5 years of post-consultant or senior specialist experience
Eligible for consultant licensure with the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS)
