Consultant Fetal Medicine (Female) - Abu Dhabi

We are currently seeking a highly qualified and dedicated consultant in fetal medicine to join a prestigious hospital in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will provide expert diagnosis, management, and care for complex fetal conditions and high-risk pregnancies, working closely with obstetricians, neonatologists, and other specialists to ensure the best outcomes for both mother and baby.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive fetal medicine services to expectant mothers with complex medical conditions and high-risk pregnancies
  • Conduct in-depth fetal assessments, including ultrasound scans and genetic testing, to identify any potential abnormalities or health concerns
  • Work closely with other medical specialists, including maternal-fetal medicine specialists, obstetricians, and neonatologists, to develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients
  • Perform prenatal interventions, such as fetal blood sampling, fetal shunts, and intrauterine transfusions, when necessary
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and communicate findings and treatment plans effectively with patients and their families
  • Keep up-to-date with developments and advancements in the field of fetal medicine and contribute to research and publications in the field
Qualifications And Requirements
  • Medical degree from an accredited university
  • Specialist degree in Fetal Medicine
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in fetal medicine, preferably in a hospital or clinical setting
  • Certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology from a recognized medical board
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team
  • Passion for providing high-quality patient care
  • Fluent in English, both written and verbal
